How We Achieve Your Vision
A big part of what we do is PREP. In fact, we are so thorough with our process, that in some cases, we spend more time preparing your project than we will on the actual work. That's because we identify all the possible red flags (hidden costs) that could pop up once construction starts. Our process helps to avoid change orders and delays in the middle of your project. Step 1 -
Initial Phone Call (Free)
You reach out to us about your interest in a remodel project by filling out the contact form on this website. We reach out to you for an initial phone call to make sure our service & process is a good fit for what you are looking for in a remodel company. This call typically takes 10-20 minutes, depending on how many questions you have!
Step 2 -
1 HR In-Home Consultation (Free)
We come to your house to see the project in person, identify any up front red flags that immediately stand out to us. Go through some initial options and different routes you could take to get the project to the end and have it look the way you envisioned. During this step, we provide a price RANGE (ex: $20-$40k) that we think your project will land. This helps to identify if our company's service falls within the budget you have set aside for this project. It also helps to provide some insight on the ACTUAL cost of remodels, not the cost you see on these remodel tv shows. Expect 1 hour.
Step 3 -
1st Commitment $$
At this point, you have finished interviewing/vetting your contractors and are ready to hire someone. If that is us, then we are excited!! You will meet the interior design team to start your material selection process and a small deposit will be required to put your project on the books and start your "Prep" / "Design" process. Depending on how fast YOU make decisions, this will take about 7-14 business days.
Step 4 -
Design Phase/Initial 2D
In this step, you will have already selected your materials with the designer (think counters, hardware, cabinet colors, tile, flooring, wall paint colors, etc.) and we pass this information over to the design team. They start drawing your 2D floor plans & elevations (views of the walls). This way, we can verify the "change" of plans to the home (if any) from a structural stand or elevation stand point. Expect initial drawings to come back to you in about 7-8 business days.
Step 5 -
Design Phase/Initial 3D
In this step, you will have already approved the 2D drawings and will start seeing the 3D views of your remodel project. This is where it really starts to POP and come together! This is the "vision" coming to life where you can actually see your new kitchen, bathroom, etc. Now you are getting excited! This step typically takes about 3-5 business days.
Step 6 -
Design Phase/Approved!
In this step, you sign off on your drawings, 2D/3D and renderings. Approximately 1 business day for this step. At the end of this step, during sign off, you will also sign your construction work invoice and provide a deposit check. It's official! Time to schedule demo day!
Step 7 -
Construction Starts
Now on to the fun part! We progress the project along from demolition to finished product. Length of time depends on the size of your project. Progress checks are collected weekly for any work that has "progressed" the job forward. Think of it like a "pay as you go" system.
Step 8 -
Post Project / Warranty
A couple of weeks after we have cleaned up and are out of the house. We give you time to move back into your space and live in your new remodel to see if anything sticks out or needs adjusted (door hardware, etc). We honor any warranty requests, take pictures of your project for our own documentation and explain the warranty coverage on your project.
